A Grown-Up Birthday Party & Presents for Him

When there is a birthday in our house, we party! But finding fun things for a grown-up party proves more and more difficult each year. We’ve done the house party, escape games, dinners out with friends and the exploration day kinda deal, so it was time to find something new in the ‘hood! It was the hubster’s birthday so I began my Pinterest search of ‘Presents for Him’ in hopes I could find something different! (You’ll have to wait for the second part of the birthday breakdown to see what I found!) And then I scoured Google for ‘things to do in Franklin, TN‘.

I had heard about a place called King’s and how it was a new hang spot in town – have ya heard of it? Bowling + Good Food? Now I know you’ve never heard of THAT! A few of our friends raved about it, so I thought we would give it a go!

Pinterestless Birthday Party {And a Giveaway!}

I cannot believe that it has been one whole year since my baby turned 1! {If you’re looking for Pinterest-worthy pics of a birthday party, go HERE.} This year I did what many Mother’s do, and I created a Pinterest board well in advance of the big day and began pinning my birthday visions.
And then I quickly released myself of all obligations to live up to this Pinterest-perfect world, and deleted it.
